Virtual Performance with the American Swedish Institute
A long time ago, or maybe it was just yesterday, Josephine searched for adventure beyond her family’s mill – climbing trees, bathing in the river and playing by the edge of the forest. When she is forced to make her own path in the world, the darkness of uncertainty is terrifying. Josephine must find the strength to trust the unknown. Will she listen to the inner guides of earth, wind, water and fire?
Silver Hands asks how we learn to make wise choices. Can the witches, wizards and wise ones of the woods teach us not to fear the unknown? Josephine is faced with questions like “How am I in the world and what stories do I hold?”
Join Parker Genné and her intergenerational Folktopia band for the release of their new work/concept album: Silver Hands, part 1.
There will be an online performance on October 30 followed by a virtual discussion with the audience and artistic team.

Singing siren, pasta eating and character comedy Ms. Luisa Eats is bringing her friends together for a holiday vaudeville variety show, performing for the first time at Icehouse Mpls. The show features a holiday spread of percussion, sweet songs, high kicks, hip tricks and more!
